The Selkie Myth

Now for the magical part. Selkies are creatures from Celtic mythology that are said to be seals who can shed their skin and transform into human form. It's said selkie women often fell in love with human men, and the man had to hide her sealskin to keep her on land.
But if she ever found her sealskin ... she would be gone the next day.
